Art Practice: Heart Wreath

Hello, Saturday.

I'd like to make Valentine's cards and have started practicing. Today I did a rough outline sketch in paint of what I thought I'd like to make. This was the first attempt to paint the watercolor wreath. I am using watercolor postcard paper for practice (I use both sides). 

I see several changes I'd like to make in the next iteration; hearts that are uniform in size, perhaps the same color (not sure on that), better leaves, and perhaps a different color flower instead of pale pink. It's a start. 

Starting to run out of time to make as many as I need and to allow mailing time. So we shall see. I also have another idea of a large heart that is accented with just a few flowers. That may be quicker to make.
