Art Practice: Poppies card

Hello, Tuesday.

I had a couple of failures in trying to paint flowers, actually several, and had to scramble to make Valentine's cards that will probably arrive late since 3 and 4 days to deliver from here to where they need to go doesn't happen like it used to. But they will arrive and the recipient will appreciate the card and know they are loved. 

After trying to make a few different varieties of flowers, I returned to poppies and then modified colors to also make peonies. Today, I'm showing you poppies. I need to paint flowers more often. I'm really just a beginner and it's okay. It was fun. So on it goes. 

Almost forgot, in the process of failing at one type of flower, I think I hit upon a way to paint tulips. We shall see.
