Made a birthday card for my Dad's wife. Colleen. Technically she is my Step-Mom but from the beginning, she said to call her by her first name. She's a lovely person and she and my Dad are very happy.
I tried something different with today's card. I left more white space than I have before and thought to make the color pattern a bit more symmetric than usual. I tend to prefer asymmetry in general. Didn't have enough time to make overlapping circles but I had an idea how to do that next time that may be a bit quicker than the usual hour +/- it takes to make one of those cards.
With my paint still out, I think I'll make another Christmas card and see what happens. To clarify, my card list is NOT each getting handmade custom cards, but I will copy the winning card onto cardstock in my printer. I don't have the time to make 50 cards and I probably don't have that much inspiration either. Perhaps a few originals to parents. We shall see. They have to be mailed by the 15th at the latest though I'm aiming for the 10th.
