Shadows and Light: A Vase

Hello, Saturday.

We had food order pick-up today and ordered Chinese food take-out. A fun date after learning a bit about 'mirroring' and 'casting' from my laptop to the TV to possibly work with a VPN. I am definitely tech-challenged. 

Today's photo was taken around 9 AM as the sun was beginning to rise higher and was shining less directly into the window. We have a row of glass vases on top of a short, narrow wood shelf in our kitchen. This vase is at the end of the row. I liked the angle of the light (along with the angle of the photo), which made the shadow apart from the vase and the reflections of the blue tablecloth in the glass. 

I often notice - and enjoy - shadows the way I enjoy looking at clouds. Shadows will become a new category of regular posts going forward.
