Tell me, please.
Dec 10, 2020
A friend texted me to share the news that a mutual acquaintance (her close friend) had died today from complications of life-long diabetes. She was not yet 50. After conveying my condolences to my friend, I asked what would Angie want her to do now?
For several years, every time a family member, or a friend, an acquaintance, or a visible member of the community, or perhaps even someone that I didn't know but admired--every time someone passes, I am reminded that life is fleeting.
We all have a limited time though I like to tell myself that I'm living for a very LONG time, even if I shall be granted a long life, it will one day end. Thus every loss is a reminder to get on with it now. Get on with the business of living. With creating. With taking the next step into possibility.
